GET TO KNOW: GRACEN WILKINS
Get to know Gracen Wilkins, the 16-year-old passionate vegan from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
How were you scouted by The Brick? I was scouted on Instagram in March of this year and was officially signed about a month later. What made you want to model? I went to LA for summer break when I was 12 to visit my uncle. One of the days that I was there, we went out to lunch with his agent, and he had mentioned modeling. I didn't really take it seriously at the time because I didn't think I had what it took looks-wise. But, when I got home, I did some research and fell in love with the industry and decided to go for it. What’s your favorite hobby? My favorite hobby is probably cooking. I'm the only vegan in my family, so I've had to learn how to cook for myself and I've grown to enjoy it.
What item in your closet do you wear the most? My go-to clothing item is probably a nice pair of mom jeans because you can dress them up or down.
What do you enjoy about being a model? I love being a part of a team where everyone is working together to bring the vision to life. Do you have an issue or cause you are passionate about? I'm passionate about so many issues, but if I was only able to speak out on one it'd be on animal rights because they need someone to be their voice. What inspires you? My goal in life is to be happy, so the idea of happiness inspires me to do everything it takes to reach that goal. How would you describe your personality? I would describe my personality as being very independent, caring, strong but sensitive, and hard working.

What is your beauty secret? Drinking tons of water and getting enough sleep works miracles for having clear skin, also wearing sunscreen when you know you’re going to be out in the sun is very important. What is your favorite food? My favorite food is definitely cereal, it's never not good! Who is your favorite model and why? All the supermodels in the 80s are amazing, so it's difficult to choose. But, if I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be Naomi Campbell. Models like Naomi are rare, she's just so good at what she does!
